The Dark Emperador is extracted in the area around the town of Yecla, which has been considered a place for the convergence of cultures throughout history and is located in the region of Murcia \u2013 southeast of Spain.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

The Dark Emperador is a very elegant, sophisticated, and charming stone. This partially explains the reputation and recognition that it has gained all over the world. It is also a stone of a special bright effect; its pure and deep dark colors have been quite appreciated by architects and decorators around the world.\u00a0<\/p>

The background is dark brown combined with light brown, reddish areas but what is particular with Emperador is its spider web structure. It has high demand worldwide and is used on reference projects in different parts of the world.<\/p>

It may be difficult to choose and understand its main selections that start from Classic and Commercial, all the way up to higher selections such as Standard and First. The rule of thumb is that the lower grades have more “spider web”, and the color won\u2019t be so dark plus, there will be a lot of color tone variation. As you move on Standard and First grade, the stone gets darker and the spider web is even less, the veining becomes less dense,\u00a0 while the color becomes more consistent across the whole cut.<\/p>

It is an ideal stone to use in interior applications; together with Cream Marfil for example it makes a wonderful contrast.
